A Brief History

Founded in 1974, Canopy Country RV made itself a landmark in the Yakima Valley providing custom-built truck canopies. Soon after, the company added recreational vehicles which eventually took over the majority of the inventory and continues to be at the forefront of the many service we offer.

After having 20 years experience in the RV industry, current owner, Todd Munson came into the picture in 1998; bringing with him a tactful vision and team-oriented culture. In 2009, Jason Carroll joined forces with Munson becoming a partner. Moving forward, Munson and Carroll continue to stretch and strengthen the company.

In 2005, Canopy Country RV added an additional location in Ellensburg to better serve Central Washington and cater to our growing business. Currently we offer quality RVs and some of the best service in the industry.

The Pacific Northwest is home to vast outdoor recreation opportunities and Central Washington happens to be at the core of it all! Today our company has grown from a small dream in Yakima, to the largest RV dealership in Central Washington.

Jayco recycled 5,438 tons of wood, 1,332 tons of scrap metal, and 793 tons of cardboard and paper in 2011. They continue to work toward a more sustainable manufacturing facility. The Jayco Ecoadvantage program is committed to protecting the environment.

Our Forest River products have taken measures to reduce formaldehyde emissions from composite wood used in manufacturing as well as other forward-thinking tactics to promote a sustainable future.
